The commitment includes free and subsidized telecom and digital financial services to keep families connected during the crisis. On the ground, relief packages comprising essentials like food, medicine, tents, and bedding will be distributed to affected households. In partnership with welfare organizations, JazzCash will also launch a matching grant, doubling customer donations to maximize impact.
“Our PKR 100 million pledge reflects our collective resolve to stand with the nation in its time of need,” said Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz and Chairman of Mobilink Bank. “By leveraging connectivity, digital payment infrastructure, and sustainable banking services, we aim to deliver urgent support and lay foundations for long-term recovery for flood-affected communities.”
Special focus will be given to women and children, with targeted interventions addressing health, nutrition, and hygiene needs. Mobilink Bank will lead the rehabilitation phase—providing financing and support tools designed to restore livelihoods, drive local economic revival, and enhance resilience against future disasters.
Through this holistic strategy, Jazz, JazzCash, and Mobilink Bank are taking on frontline roles in private-sector-led disaster response—offering immediate aid and sustainable recovery pathways to ensure no community is left behind.
