Race started in india, after lok Sabha Elections

The Congress won 13 of Maharashtra’s 48 Lok Sabha seats, emerging as the single-largest party in the state.

Three days after surprising the BJP and other groups by becoming the biggest party in Maharashtra in the recent Lok Sabha elections, the Congress is now focusing on the next goal – the Assembly elections, which are expected to happen around October.

At an event celebrating the victory of 13 new Congress MPs from Maharashtra, the state’s Congress leader Nana Patole encouraged them to start preparing for the upcoming elections. He urged them to continue asking important questions in Parliament and speaking up for the concerns of the people.

Patole reminded everyone that there are more elections ahead, including local ones like zila parishad and gram panchayat, as well as the state assembly elections. He emphasized the importance of serving the people who supported them to attain power.

The event was attended by various prominent figures from the Congress party, including Ramesh Chennithala, who oversees Maharashtra, and senior leaders like Prithviraj Chavan, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Vijay Wadettiwar, Mukul Wasnik, and Rajani Patil. Vishal Patil, a Congress rebel who won the Sangli Lok Sabha seat as an Independent and has now aligned with the party, was also present.
