BYD Shark 6 has marked one year in Pakistan with an exclusive anniversary edition colour, “Outback Orange,” Mega Motor Company (MMC), the official partner of BYD in Pakistan, announced. The Shark 6 is Pakistan’s first and most powerful plug-in hybrid pickup, combining electric performance, capability and off-road technology for those who seek thrill and adventure.
The anniversary edition was unveiled at the recently held Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026 in Lahore.
Commenting on the milestone, Danish Khaliq, Vice President Sales & Strategy, BYD Pakistan – MMC, said: “From the beginning, we saw an opportunity to offer Pakistani customers something that was not available in this segment, a pickup that combines the capability people expect with the technology and driving experience of a plug-in hybrid. One year on, the response to the Shark 6 reinforces our belief that when customers are given the right options, they are ready to embrace new technology.”
The BYD Shark 6 combines BYD’s Super DMO technology with 436 HP and 650 Nm of torque, delivering an 800 km combined range. The anniversary edition retains the capabilities that have defined the pickup while introducing an exclusive and vibrant new colour. It pairs its hybrid powertrain with all-terrain capability, including Mud, Snow and Sand driving modes, while its extensive range gives drivers the flexibility for both everyday use and longer journeys.
To mark the first anniversary, all bookings made between October 1 and October 31 will receive their cars within 30 days (available on select colours), upon full payment, along with a one-year free service maintenance package. Terms and conditions apply.
