Shammi Jalandhari has wrote many songs for many movies. His work of writing travelled from Australia to Bollywood and now has been part of many movies. He had acted as a lyricist for several talented singers such as The Nooran sister, Hargun Kaur, Mohammad Ali and many more. After having connection with Mukhtar Sahota they both came in the form of involvement with the Punjabi film “Kacche Dhaage” and Hindi Film “Woh” Moreover, Shammi’s most recent project is a Bollywood movie, “Raj Abrodiya” for which he has written three songs and which he believes has furthered his aspirations in the music industry. It has also put a certain pressure on him to deliver the best of his abilities and to produce lyrics of high quality. He has written two song for the movie “Ishq My Religion” and one song is sung by famous Bollywood singers the Nooran sister and the other one is sung by the Pakistani Sufi singer Mussarat Abbas. These songs are composed and music done by Mukhtar Sahota. In addition to this, Shammi says, “Opportunities such as these do not come by easy and I am striving to make the best out of it. While I am grateful for the current success, there is a long way to go in order for me to be fully satisfied by what I have achieved so far”.
