Savar Police are set to deploy drones to manage traffic and ensure passenger safety during Eid journeys. Additional Inspector General of Police Shahabuddin Khan stated that strict actions will be taken against bus drivers allowing passengers on their vehicle roofs.

Khan emphasized this during his visit to the Nabinagar-Chandra Highway in Savar. He highlighted the concerted efforts of law enforcement agencies to facilitate smooth Eid travels, including deploying additional police at critical points to ease traffic congestion. Special attention is being given to prevent traffic disruptions caused by ongoing road construction and cattle stalls on roadsides.
